💡 Geo point maps allow to display numerical data on maps from longitude and latitude data. The data is presented in raw form or else in the form of bubbles of a size proportional to the values to be represented.
Click on the Geo Point Map icon and select what map you want to add it to the dashboard, then drag and drop the fields you want to filter by.
The configuration of the component is then done in the following order:
The addition of fields to be visualized is done by drag and drop in the following three main areas:
Latitude
Longitude
Values
Latitude and longitude contain the geographical coordinates of the data. Values contains the data to be displayed on the map.
💡 This map provides a visual representation of the value of one or two indicators.

Weight
Color
Latitude and longitude contain the geographical coordinates of the data. Weight contains the data to be displayed on the map according to the size of the bubble. Color contains the data to be displayed on each pie via a color scale
💡 This map allows you to represent pie charts on a geographic map.
Fields to be visualized are added by drag and drop in the following four main areas:
Latitude
Longitude
Values
Argument
Latitude and longitude contain the geographical coordinates of the data. Values it is the data field to be analyze. Argument is the set of data to be compared to each other according to the selected values.
The geo point map can be customized using the interaction and layout tool. Click on the cogwheel visible on the top right of the map to access the tool.
The interaction settings allow the map to interact with other dashboard components.
Enable Clustering: Gather a large number of points close to each other within the same dashboard item group.
It is available for all geo points map.
Common
This part allows you to configure the map title and to rename the data items.
Show title: Hide or show the title. It is displayed by default.
Modify title: Rename the component, tooltip measures, tooltip dimensions and values.
Choice of the map
This part allows you to import a new map in Shapefile (.shp) format, or to select another map among those available.
Import map: Allows you to import a new map and use it in the dashboard.
Default map: Define the map to use.
It is available for all geo points map.
Navigation
This part allows you to configure the navigation on the map
Lock navigation: If checked, it is now impossible to move with the mouse on the map or to zoom/unzoom with the mouse wheel.
Full extent: Resets the map display to show the entire area in the component window Labels.
Labels
This part allows you to display the names of geographical areas on the map and in the tooltips according to various naming conventions.
Shape Title: Brings up the shape label parameters window.
Title attribute: Names of geographic areas to be displayed on the map.
Legend
This part allows you to set the display of the map legend.
Show Color Legend: Hide or show the legend. It is hidden by default.
Legend Position: Position the legend according to the 12 proposed locations.
Weighted Legend
This part allows you to set the display of the legend on the size of the bubbles on the map. Available for Bubble map and Pie map.
Pie options
This part allows you to activate or not the weighting of the pies by the value entered. Only available for Pie map.
Colors
Only available for Pie map.
Global colors: Modify the colors of a set of values for all dashboard components.
Local colors: Modifies the colors of a set of values for this dashboard component only.
