Right-click on a component

Right-click on the component to display a contextual menu:

  • Configure the interactions and layout: Displays the interactions and layout settings window.

  • Show title: Show or hide the component title; it is displayed by default.

  • Duplicate: Create a new component identical to the current one on the same dashboard. The data "values", "arguments" and "series" are selected identically on the copy.

  • Delete: Delete the component.

  • Convert to: Change the data display type of the whole component.

⚠️Some information may no longer be visible according to the new display selected. They will then have to be put back in the correct location of the data items.

  • Remove data items: Remove the data fields from the data items.

  • Transpose: Swap the data fields placed in "arguments" and "series" data items.

  • Modify title: Rename the titles of the component and the data items "values.

  • Edit filter: Modify the filter currently applied to the component.

  • Clear: Delete the filter currently applied to the component.

  • Filter visible data: Filter the data that is currently visible on the component.

  • Refresh: Refresh the data display.

  • Maximize: If there are several components on the dashboard, display the component in the entire dashboard area

  • Print preview, export to PDF, export to image, export to Excel: Offers the export options available through the component icon

  • Export dashboard: Opens a sub-menu which proposes the export options available through the component icon. The selection of one of these choices applies to the entire dashboard

Options depending on the visual components:

  • Edit rules (grid, pivot table): Modify the conditional formats applied to the component.

  • Reset layout options (pivot table): Restores the default pivot table layout settings.

  • Import Map (Maps): Import a map in Shapefile format.

  • Default Map (Maps): Change the default map.

  • Full extent (maps): Remove the drill down on a map area.

  • Insert field (text): Insert a field present in the "values" data item.

  • Edit (text): Modify the text field.

  • Import image (image): Import a local image.
