Performing calculations on data

This section describes the different tools you have at your disposal in Biwee to perform advanced analyses of your data.

With Biwee, you can:

• Add calculated fields to your datasets that can be used in one or more chart components.

• Configure calculations (simple or advanced) directly in the chart components.

• Perform 3 different types of calculations:

  • Calculations at the level of the rows of the dataset.

  • Aggregated calculations that aggregate the data at the level of detail of the displayed component.

  • Aggregated calculations that present the data at a different level of detail that the one displayed in the component.

  • Window calculations that allow you to browse all the data in the component and perform cumulative or displacement calcuations, for example.
