Aggregate function

You can use aggregation functions in calculated fields, in order to evaluate the value of the expression at an aggregated level, rather than evaluated row by row. Calculated fields using aggregation functions can be recognized with the symbol Σ.

Since they are not calculated row by row, these fields do not have a value displayed in the data view of the dashboard. A "!" button indicates that the dataset contains aggregated calculated fields. Their result depends on the data displayed in a visual component.
