Pivot Grid
💡 The pivot gridis suitable for visualizing multidimensional data in a single table. It allows to get global or more detailed analyses in the form of totals and subtotals. It is also possible to access only a part of the details to have a fine vision of a precise point of information sought.
Creating the component
Click on the Pivot grid icon to add a pivot grid to the dashboard.

The settings of the component is then done according to the following order:
Fields of data items
The fields to be displayed are added by drag and drop in the following 3 main areas.

Value
Column
Row
Value
Values displayed in the table boxes.
Sales analysis

Column
Data fields displayed in the table columns.
Sales analysis by country

Row
Data fields displayed in rows of the table.
Accessories sales analysis by country

Multiple data items
Multiple values
Adding values increases the number of calculations in columns.
Adding the number of employees per store

Multiple columns
Adding a data field in a column increases the granularity of the analysis by that field and causes an arrow to appear on the left of the top column. You can view the details of a column by clicking on the arrow.

Display the detail of Canada by city after clicking on the arrow. You have to click again on the arrow to go back to the previous view

Multiple rows
As with the columns, adding a data field in a row increases the granularity of the analysis according to this field and makes an arrow appear on the left of the previous row. It is possible to view the details of a row by clicking on the arrow.

Conditionnal formatting
Conditional formatting can be applied to the cells of the pivot grid using the format rules. The format rules available depend on the type of data field they apply to, as well as the type of column.

To do this:
Either right click on the field that will be used to define the conditional format rule, click on "add format rule".

Or right click on the chart component, and click on "Edit rules".

Pivot Grid settings
The pivot grid can be customized using the interaction and layout tool. Click on the cogwheel on the top right of the component to access the tool.

It features 3 tabs:
Interactions
Layout
Filters
Interactions
This tab allows you to configure the interactions of the pivot grid of this component with the other components of the dashboard.
For more details, see the section dedicated to the interactivity between visual components.
Layout
This tab is used to customize the display of the component.
Commun
This part allows to configure the title of the component and values.

Show title: Hide or show title. It is displayed by default.
Modify title: Rename the component and values.
Initial State
This part allows you to define the default display of the pivot grid values.

Expand column groups: If checked, displays all column dimensions.
Expand row groups: If checked, displays all row dimensions.
Layout
This part allows you to modify the layout of the elements of the pivot grid.

Totals: Shows or hides the subtotals in rows or columns
Grand Totals: Displays or hides the grand totals in rows or columns
Layout: If compact is selected, the subtotals are displayed as row headers before the next dimensions. If tabular display is selected, the row headers also display the dimension names in a hierarchical form.
Filters
This tab allows you to add a simple or combined filter on the data displayed in the tiles of this component and has no influence on the other dashboard components.
